Framed Motifs
Crane – $240
Cranes enjoy the San Marcos River, soaring like Sky Lords over the trees they chose for their nests. This crane is a Sandhills crane, which migrates in enormous groups through the American Great Plains each year.
Luminescence – $180
Shimmering wings skimming over aqua waters, this 18x18 silk batik of a dragonfly includes electric coral shades. Framed in a black wooden gallery frame with archival acrylic, it is ready for shipment.
Grounded – $180
A study for my series on aquifers, this 18x18 painting features a pair of ponderosa pine, one younger, one older, pulling their support from hidden depths of water and nutritious should. Batik on silk, this painting is framed in a black frame with archival acrylic and is ready for shipment.
Nest with Eggs – $180
A delicate interlacing of twigs on a starry black background, this 18x18 silk batik of a birds nest holds three small eggs. Framed in a black wooden gallery frame with archival acrylic, it is ready for shipment.
Nesting – $50
A little nest with eggs is a lovely way to commemorate a new home or a new addition to the family. This 5x5 silk batik motif is framed with a 10x10 black frame and white double mats, ready for shipment.
Standing Stones – $50
Standing under a moonlit sky, the stones glow with possibility. This 5x5 silk batik motif is framed with a 10x10 black frame and white double mats, ready for shipment.
Center of it All – $50
Tree motifs are a favorite of mine. This 5x5 batik motif features a deep pulsing heart against a dark starry sky.
Lantern Tree – $50
The tree at the edge of the water is symbolic of the human life at the edge of the world beyond. The glowing orbs, layered in light, represent the human soul, glowing with divine reflection. This silk painting is in a gold floating frame and ready to ship.
Pride Tree – $50
Painted for the 2023 Pride Show here in San Marcos, this batik motif features an old oak tree that stands outside my office window.
